The duo DNK was formed in 2001, and is composed of Andreja Gjorgjieski – Andrej born on February 9, 1982 in Skopje and Vladimir Blazev – Pancho born on July 29, 1979 also in Skopje.

As artists with previous musical experience and education (Andreja has completed primary and secondary music school and is a student at the Music Academy in Skopje) they decide after a career in the groups TNT (Andrej) and OK Band (Pancho) to start a joint career in 2001 when they play the first single of DNK – “Devojka za vezden” for which they record a video.

The second single “Blagodaram odnapred” becomes an evergreen in the Macedonian music treasury and besides the first album “Pazi dete” which DNK released in 2005, is also on the new album “Kazano e se”. In the following years, Andrej and Pancho transferred their musical experience to other fields related to music again. Pancho became a resident DJ in the most famous and largest Macedonian and foreign clubs, and then founded Sure Shotz Entertainment agency through which he brought to Macedonia the best world and Balkan R&B artists including: Edo Maajka, Connect, V I P, DJ Oli Doboli and many others. On the other hand, Andrej became the music editor of the only music television in Macedonia – K-15 TV and producer of the show “My Star” from which many new musical talents emerged. As collaborators and friends with the producer Vrchak, DNK became one of the founders of “Production Republic” and the first exclusives of the same. Numerous musical achievements of DNK are just proof of their successful work as a duo whose memorable performances throughout the country are the most visited. Their performances at the most prestigious Macedonian festival “Makfest” are also notable, where they performed with “Taa toa go krie”, “Polna mesechina” (for which they won the award for best stage performance and for the most twisted song between the two festivals) and “Prv” (duet with Vrchak, for which they also received the award for best stage performance). They are two-time winners of the “Golden Orbit of Popularity”, and their participation in humanitarian concerts and festivals as well as the manifestation “Topol kulturen bran” organized by the Ministry of Culture are numerous.

The support that DNK receives daily from their audience brought them energy and love to make their second album released in June 2010, entitled “Kazano e se”. The album containing 18 songs was released by their parent company “Production Republic”, and the producer of the whole album is Vrchak. “Kazano e se” received its exclusive packaging which was promoted and released in August 2010. In January 2011, DNK held their own concert at the Colosseum Club in Skopje, which was an announcement for the big concert that should take place on September 24 this year.
